What people usually ask us
Does Serglo provide the equipment and staff on congress day?
Serglo travels to the congress to install and configure the entire system and oversee that it runs correctly during check-in. The check-in desks are staffed by personnel provided by the organizer, usually hostesses, who can also answer delegates’ questions about the congress itself.
Can more than one check-in mode be combined at the same congress?
Yes, this is common. Many congresses combine a staffed desk for special cases or queries with self-service kiosks to speed up the entry flow. The modes are compatible and run on the same system.
What happens if a delegate doesn't have their QR code at check-in?
That’s not a problem. The system allows staff to search for the delegate by name or registration details and issue their badge anyway from any desk. No one is left without a badge for not having their QR code on hand.
How is access to social events and catering managed?
During check-in, delegates can be asked to confirm their expected attendance at the social and catering events included in their registration. Access to each activity is then controlled by scanning the QR code on their badge.
How far in advance does the service need to be booked?
There’s no set minimum notice period, but the service is subject to equipment and staff availability on the congress dates. The sooner it’s confirmed, the more guaranteed the availability. We recommend contacting us as soon as your dates are set.
